Fuji Xerox Announces Winners of PIXI Awards 2016
The annual PIXI Awards aims to recognise customer innovation and excellence in digital printing.

Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd announced the winners of its 9th annual PIXI (Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging) Awards, recognising innovation and excellence in digitally-printed work from users of Fuji Xerox solutions across the region – with the 40 winning entries hailing from Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Japan.
The PIXI Awards 2016 competition attracted more than 250 entries, including retaining the Inkjet Printing Awards and Gold & Silver Awards, in keeping with the growing trend of inkjet and 5th color usage in the industry.
Submissions for the PIXI Awards 2016 were evaluated based on the following criteria: print quality, appropriate use of digital technology, innovation, business effectiveness, and overall aesthetics – demonstrating a good balance between the quality of the digital prints and the ability of the Fuji Xerox’s solutions to deliver the desired results.
The independent panel of judges tasked to select the winners of the PIXI Awards 2016 was comprised of professionals in the printing industry, including Paul Callaghan, publisher and chairman of the Asian Print Awards, Major Wong Wing Kwong, Alpha Print, and Paul Hornsby, an expert in the graphic communication industry.
“The annual PIXI Awards – now in its 9th-year running – has become an important tradition for Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific,” said Steve Ford, general manager, Production Sales & Marketing, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific. “It underscores not only our appreciation for our customers’ businesses, but also the opportunity to reward them for the great work they do every day, powered by our document management and communications solutions.”
“Being a part of the judging panel for the PIXI Awards 2016 has given me a first-eye view of the amazing range of digitally printed work by Fuji Xerox customers – resulting from the combination of creativity and technology innovation in the printing and communications solutions sphere,” said Paul Callaghan, publisher and chairman of the Asian Print Awards, and head of the 2016 PIXI panel judge. “This annual initiative by Fuji Xerox is a great way to connect with customers while recognising their innovative projects and creations.”
With the exception of entries from Australia and New Zealand, all PIXI Awards 2016 entries will also be entered in the Asian Print Awards 2017, a competition for printers in the region.
