HP, together with Redington India, officially opened doors to its Centre of Excellence (CoE), in Chennai, India.
The India CoE is the second of its kind in Asia, the first of which is in Singapore. HP now has a total of five CoEs all over the globe.
With an investment of $3 million, the CoE showcases the company's latest products and its various uses. Besides digital offset presses, pre-press, post-press and web to print solutions will also be showcased.
"This centre will give our customers hands-on experience of the products along with required training on using them," said Alon Bar Shany, general manager, HP Indigo division, HP Inc.
The Tamil Nadu state has over 85 installations, making is the largest market for HP Indigo in India.
According to HP, the southern states contributes to almost 50% of its business. The company is looking to drive adoption in multiple sectors including photography, packaging and labelling on-demand and customised printing.
