Asian Packaging Conference 2017 – Ready, Set, Go!
Opening tomorrow, the conference gears up for a high value, educational program for the packaging and label industry in the Asia Pacific region.
Organisers have confirmed the final conference topics and presentations for Asian Packaging Conference 2017. The two-day Asian Packaging Conference will occur from 27 to 28 April 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia at the Crowne Plaza Jakarta Hotel. This marks the 15th edition of the conference, which is a renewed event of the successful AFTA conference. The conference will facilitate an active exchange of ideas, networking and participation in the dynamic print industry in the region.
The technical workshops and tabletops will feature 40 manufacturing and supply companies. To better tailor to individualized business needs of delegates, the new set-up allowed for one-on-one customised consultations on the latest products and technology in the packaging industry. Companies that participated include HP, Bobst, Xeikon, Flint Group, Kodak, Gallus, CGS, Dailian International and DIC inks.

The second half of Day 2 will be led by NPES Indonesia in an “Ask the Experts” session and brand owners panel. There will be four leading industry expert’s presentations hosted by NPES, including one by the president of NPES, Thayer Long, who will give a talk on “Worldwide Market for Print 2.0: Global Opportunities in Packaging” featuring market trends in Indonesia.
About Asian Packaging Conference 2017
The annual Asian Packaging Conference 2017 promises to address issues in pre-press, digital, flexo, gravure, finishing, design and branding faced by today’s print packaging business owners. This is the 15th year of the conference, and marks the first edition under a refurbished organization, Labels & Packaging Innovation Asia (formerly known as AFTA).
