Pack Print International 2017 to focus on packaging

Happening in Bangkok, Thailand, the sixth edition of Pack Print International will pay special attention to Asia’s growing packaging and labels market. From 20 to 23 September 2017, the exhibition will be showcasing machinery, technologies and solutions from the packaging and printing sectors.

One of the event features is the ‘One Stop Pack & Print Pavilion’, which will showcase 25 award-winning and creative packaging solutions from Thailand.

The solutions aim to serve as a targeted platform where innovative packaging design, packaging end users, packaging producers, suppliers and manufacturers can collaborate to source and and share the best practices to navigate the packaging and printing ecosystem.

The exhibition will hold the theme Packaging and Printing 4.0 – where innovation and technological advancements bring new synergies and perspectives to packaging and print – as conveyed through the three pillars of package, packaging process for manufacturing and packaging production.

Pack Print International will also showcase the labelling zone, to cater to the growing label printing industry. The zone will feature advanced end-use packaging applications including; food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electronics, and extends to a wider spectrum of label printing, decoration, processing and technological applications.

Organisers confirmed that 300 leading exhibitors from 20 countries are on show. This includes national and country groups from Germany, organised by VDMA with approved funding from the Federal Republic of Germany, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Japan and for the first time, Singapore.

Exhibitors for the biennially-held specialist trade fair include repeat companies such as Hewlett-Packard, KBA, Konica Minolta, Duplo, Bobst, Ferrostaal, Fuji Xerox, Riso, Cyber SM, Rotometrics, Kurz, Zund Asia, Ricoh and Siam Toppan.

Jointly organised by The Thai Packaging Association, The Thai Printing Association and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, Pack Print International is modelled after drupa and interpack.

Complementing the show floor is a series of concurrent conferences, seminars and technical presentations led by industry experts and exhibitors.
