CGS continues Asia growth with new appointment
Eden Kim has been appointed as new Business Development Manager for the region.
CGS Publishing Technologies International announced the appointment of Eden Kim as new business development manager. Alongside CGS’ regional sales manager, Yan Wei Phin, Kim will be responsible for growing the ASEAN and South Korean region.
Based in Singapore, the South Korean native brings with her 12 years of experience in the graphic communications industry. She had her start in the industry in North America as an Applications & Colour Specialist at Fujifilm Canada, before making the move to Asia Pacific in 2012.
“My history with CGS began in 2009 when I’ve supported their product while I was at Fujifilm. I known many of the CGS members already and some are my good friends, so I’m very happy to join the team,” said Kim. “The first order of business is to get reacquainted with CGS’ range of solutions. I look forward to visiting our head office in Germany for a full product training so I can best work with our industry partners.”
Kim joins CGS after honing her expertise working on various design and print projects with brand management agencies in Australia and Singapore. Most recently, she managed print production in packaging for brands under Procter & Gamble.
“We're excited and proud to welcome Eden to join the team to further grow the Asia Pacific region. She brings along with her a lot of value to the business with her expertise and experience in the packaging space,” said Christoph Thommessen, sales director Asia Pacific, CGS.
