Comexi reinforces strategic positioning in South Korea
The company reports a successful technical seminar on flexible packaging trends.
More than 80 customers and collaborators attended Comexi’s technical seminar held on 26 June, in Myeongdong, South Korea. The seminar was supported by the Manel Xifra Boada Technology Center, which has extensive experience and knowledge and is the main source of knowledge in the flexible packaging sector.
Following the success of the first technical seminars held in Peru and Mexico, Comexi selected South Korea to hold its third technical seminar, confirming the importance of this country in its consolidation and leadership plans in the area.
The seminar focused primarily on the increasingly important Asian market, featuring seasoned account of the outstanding gravure printing technology. Printing solutions such as flexo and offset were analysed, along with existing conversions currently in the market. It also gave them a unique opportunity to take in the range of the most innovative printing and converting technologies available in the market.
With a complete agenda, topics like sustainability through water-based inks and adhesives without solvents were discussed; as well as new trends in lamination, laser applications and robotization. The latter generated a high degree of interest in the Korean market.
