Landa appoints new chairman
Asher Levy is active chairman; CEO Yishai Amir steps down
Landa Digital Printing announced the appointment of Asher Levy as active chairman. After four years as the company’s first CEO, Yishai Amir has stepped down. Amir left to proceed to his "next challenges and to make way for a successor at the Company".
Landa Digital Printing (LDP) is the largest company in the Landa Group, and is responsible for Nanographic printing presses. It has 600 staff today.
Prior to the appointment, Levy was formerly the CEO of Orbotech, and supposedly grew the tech company to billion-dollar status under his helm. According to Benny Landa, Levy brings the right skillset and experience to guide LDP through the rapid growth curve it said it is currently experiencing with its Nanographic presses.
“2019 was a pivotal year for Landa Digital Printing, which saw its first press installations being enthusiastically received by customers," said Benny Landa, Chairman of the Landa Group. "The Company is now poised for unprecedented growth and is deserving of a dedicated Active Chairman. I am therefore very pleased to announce that I have invited Asher Levy to partner with me and my fellow Board members, as Active Chairman of Landa Digital Printing.”
Asher Levy stated: “I am very excited to be joining the Board of Landa Digital Printing as Active Chairman. I am amazed by this company’s technology and products, which are already starting to disrupt the printing market. I look forward to helping the remarkably talented and dedicated team of people at Landa Digital Printing to fulfill the Company’s vision of leading the trillion-dollar printing industry in the digital era.”
