CGS ORIS adds new proofing papers

CGS ORIS announced the addition of two newly developed proofing paper to its professional proofing media portfolio.

The new papers, PearlPROOF Classic and PearlPROOF Premium OBA, stand out by superior coating uniformity based on a special coating technology. The new papers are characterized by reduced amounts of optical brightener, an extra coating layer as well as a special base paper to achieve ideal colour consistency.

Besides that, all other positive and well known parameters of CGS ORIS proofing papers remain constant, like the huge colour gamut, odorless-ness or smooth satin surface. Both new papers are FOGRA-certified and available in 17, 24 and 44 inches.

“Market requirements and standards are changing, this is why we, at CGS ORIS, are continuously updating our media portfolio. A new generation of printer require new generation of paper to always ensure an optimal compatibility,” commented Annette Mueller-Leuck, Sales Coordinator Europe at CGS ORIS. “The new papers perfectly match to the latest generation of Epson printers, show reduced paper aging and improved properties and specifications.”

In the same run, the entire media portfolio received new labels and back prints. Some paper names have been simplified to make it easier to see at the first glance which product group a paper belongs to and for which application it was made for.

All proofing paper are marked with “PearlPROOF”, all eco-solvent proofing substrates for the production of packaging proofs and prototypes with “PackPROOF”.
