Xeikon to demo fleXflow at Xeikon Café TV
The webinar will show the complete process of fleXflow-based digital pouch production, from PDF to pouch.
Xeikon Café TV is set to take place next week on 15th October. On the webinar, Xeikon Café TV will be showcasing the complete pouch production, supported by Xeikon fleXflow.
“Digital Pouch production is a perfect fit for label converters looking to diversify and expand their business. Xeikon’s fleXflow process revolutionizes pouch making by offering “zero-after-cure” of the laminate. This is an ECO friendly solution by not using solvents during print and lamination plus high bonding strength and low complexity in the handling and construction of many different types of pouch,” said Stefan Clopterop, Market Segment Manager Labels, Xeikon.
Xeikon’s Pouch Production solution is based on Xeikon fleXflow, and was first introduced at Labelexpo 2019. With the solution, label converters can add value to their portfolio and bring in new revenue streams by introducing digital pouch production into their existing business. The online demonstration is to showcase the production of pouches with an existing label business, which eases the burden of financial risk that is sometimes associated with stepping into new markets.
“During this current Covid-19 pandemic there have been significant increases in e-commerce and higher local demand because of disrupted supply chains from other countries. Brand owners are looking for local suppliers of pouches to secure and improve the flexibility of their supply chain and ensure the safety of their products,” said Clopterop.
Xeikon product experts will be on hand to offer their knowledge, deeper understanding and advice on the whole process required for successful digital pouch production. Attendees will have access to the latest technical demonstrations and customer testimonials. There will also be a Q&A session with all speakers.
The online event will be in place of the signature annual Xeikon Café event. Companies have turned to online versions of its events due to the onslaught of COVID-19.
